Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems Inc. is seeking Diesel Tractor Mechanics for full-time, first shift with weekend work in Dayton, OH. Candidates should have experience with Class 8 diagnostics and diesel repair, and be able to diagnose and maintain Freightliner tractors and trailers.

Qualifications

• Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools.
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
• Diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance.
• Perform general maintenance on Freightliner tractors and trailers.
• Trailer repairs, services and welding.
• Light computer work also requested.
• Must have your own basic tools.
• Pay based on experience.
• Willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on the fleet.
• Weld and service trailers as needed.
• Carry out light computer diagnostics and adjustments.
