Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist for weekend day shifts across offsite locations. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. You will perform comprehensive radiology exams, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety with proper radiation protection.

This role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and professional patient care. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image evaluation, and timely RIS/PACS record keeping.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed in radiography by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of diagnostic radiology including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, GU contrast exams, operative and portable exams.
• Operates imaging equipment and related devices as appropriate.
• Positions patients to obtain clear anatomical information.
• Calculates exposure factors and uses proper collimation to minimize patient exposure.
• Evaluates image quality and determines if additional images are needed.
• Reviews orders for appropriate history and seeks guidance when needed.
• Maintains and reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Interacts professionally with patients and staff; assists in training radiography students.
