Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Access Control Operations in Myerstown, PA. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution, perform access-control tasks, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and access to our Claim a Shift platform. Applicants must have 6 months security experience, be comfortable with computers, and hold a high school diploma, with background checks and drug screening per policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, check in visitors and delivery personnel, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen vehicles, trailers, and personnel per site procedures to support security operations.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter; document observations.
