American Heavy Plate Solutions LLC is seeking a General Labor candidate in Clarington, OH. The role involves cleaning flame cut parts, inspecting quality, and following safety protocols in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include removing slag, verifying dimensions, marking parts per work orders, and recording inspections in the ERP system. You will also assist with loading, crane operations, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a rolling mill environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Basic computer literacy and ERP usage basics.

Responsabilités

• Remove slag and sharp edges from cut parts.
• Cut lead in/out off parts.
• Verify dimensions within customer tolerance.
• Mark information on parts per work order.
• Fill inspection form and record in ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and safe from hazards.
• Package parts and prepare for shipping or storage.
• Assist in loading rail cars and operate cranes as needed.
• Remove scale from furnace cars and base.
• Profile plates after rolling with appropriate tools.
