Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of modern housekeeping practices, procedures, system and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices related to work.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and staff.
• Ability to follow directions, understand work rules and procedures.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Police public areas, empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Basic floor care: dust mopping, sweeping, wet mopping.
• Spray-buff floors; may require use of power equipment.
• Vacuum and spot clean rugs and carpets.
• Scrub and clean restroom fixtures, woodwork and other floor surfaces.
• Restock restrooms with soap, towels, toilet tissue, and supplies.
• Dust and clean walls, doors, blinds and windows.
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure areas are maintained according to company standards.
