SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Weekend Custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain daily upkeep while following safety policies and reporting incidents as needed.

The role requires ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday, 2:00PM–10:30PM) with a pay rate of $17.30–$17.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license may be required, and forklift certification could be needed based on site

Formación

• No formal education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Job Overview

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bilingual a plus

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team

Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment

Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
