Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL seeks an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast, and provide clear imaging for radiologists.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB eligible and registered within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients for optimal imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Acquire and review images for diagnostic quality and submit to radiologists.
• Maintain radiation safety standards following ALARA principles.
• Document procedures and patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis.
