Job summary

Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, position patients, and maintain equipment while supporting physicians in image analysis.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment. Weekend shift and weekend differential may apply at Vista Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT CT certification or equivalent required.
• State licensure as radiologic technologist where applicable.
• 1–2 years of CT experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to put patients at ease.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of patients per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety by following safety guidelines and protocols.
• Position patients correctly for accurate imaging results.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
• Administer contrast agents when needed and monitor for reactions.
• Assist physicians in analyzing diagnostic images.
• Provide instructions and comfort to patients during scanning.
• Maintain accurate patient records including imaging results and prep.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and health care professionals to deliver care.
• Adhere to infection control and patient privacy standards.
