Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend-only assignment in Alabama. ARRT CT certification and current BLS are required; ARRT R is preferred. 3x12 hour shifts run Fri–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, in a clinic setting.

You will perform CT scans with/without contrast, care for patients of all ages, maintain supplies, and follow safety guidelines while ensuring high-quality patient care. Local candidates within 60 miles are considered at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; license required if applicable.
• ARRT R certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification via AHA required.
• Fit test required.

Responsibilities

• Clinic setting performing CT scans for diagnostic purposes.
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Cares for patients across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Performs CT scans with and without contrast within established guidelines.
• Maintains high standards of patient care during CT scans and assists with patient discharge.
• Orders and maintains organized stock of supplies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety measures, psychosocial and physical development, medication administration, and pain management appropriate to patient age.
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment.
• Requested time off must not exceed 7 days.
• Accepts local candidates within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate.
