Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, PA is hiring a Weekend CT Scan Technologist to perform CT scans and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures. The shift is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, with benefits and a premium weekend rate.

You will inject contrast, document patient history, verify information, and ensure high-quality images are sent to PACS. ARRT CT certification and current BLS/CPR are required; advanced CT registry within one year is expected; hospital CT

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registry.
• Advanced CT registry required; must pass registry within 1 year of hire date.
• One year of staff technologist experience; hospital CT experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification and state license (NJDEP) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during invasive procedures and performs CT scans as directed.
• Communicates clinical observations to Radiologist and ensures accurate documentation.
• Injects contrast per department policy and ensures patient information is complete and accurate.
• Maintains quality of digital images and verifies correct patient data before sending to PACS.
• Participates in Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities.
