Job summary

The Radiology Technologist (WEPP) at University of Kentucky provides diagnostic imaging to expedite patient care. Duties include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and correctly identifying images and patients.

The role requires ARRT and Kentucky Radiation Operators License at hire, BLS within 90 days, CT certification within one year; weekends with premium pay, extensive benefits, and opportunities to assist student

Qualifications

• ARRT and Kentucky Radiation Operators License required at hire.
• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
• CT Certification within one year of hire.
• Associate degree plus CT experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging to assist physicians.
• Perform or assist procedures per department protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Identify images and patients correctly for interpretation.
• Order exams that match procedures performed.
• Support QA and training for student technologists.
