Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) is seeking an On-Call Weekend Crisis Intervention Specialist in Providence to provide in-person crisis intervention, emergency screening, and triage in collaboration with law enforcement. This role requires weekend and after-hours coverage to support Go Team communities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in human services, strong crisis management skills, a valid driver's license, and experience in victim services or crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Excellent crisis management and intervention skills required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Experience in victim services or crisis intervention required.
• Training in childhood trauma, police procedures and court experience preferred.
• Case management experience and knowledge of community resources preferred.
• Experience working with law enforcement preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred; ASL and multilingual skills add pay bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person crisis intervention, emergency screening, and triage in collaboration with law enforcement.
• Respond during weekends, holidays and after hours as directed by FSRI.
• Provide coverage and support in Go Team communities.
