Work Fri–Sun, 12-hour shifts in a climate-controlled precision shop serving aero, defense, and medical markets. The role requires 2+ years CNC machining experience and at least 1 year of independent setups on mills or lathes, reading blueprints, G&M codes, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
• Strong reading of blueprints, G-codes, and GD&T concepts.
• Willingness to work Fri–Sun weekend schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).
• US work authorization and local commute to Big Bend, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent setups on CNC mills and turning centers for complex parts.
• Monitor tool wear, set offsets, and maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process work with precision tools and gauges.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cell to sustain weekend production.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and apply GD&T requirements.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant machining cell.

Up to $33.00/hr + Weekend Premium (Work 36, Paid 40) Big Bend, WI Area Weekend Shift (Fri–Sun) Direct-Hire

• Pay & Incentives: Base pay up to $33.00/hr based on setup depth + weekend shift premium, full 40-hour pay for 36 hours worked, annual performance reviews, and a complete corporate benefits package.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

• Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent setups and operation on CNC mills and turning centers for complex precision components.
• Tooling & Offsets Management: Monitor tool wear, adjust tool page offsets, establish work holding, and maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
• Precision Quality Inspection: Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring hand tools, custom gauges, and inspection gear.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Investigate and resolve setup deviations or mechanical issues to maintain consistent weekend production workflow.
• Blueprint & Technical Execution: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and strictly follow GD&T requirements.
• Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, organized, safe, and 5S-compliant machining station.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

• Machining & Setup Depth: 2+ years of CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
• Technical Fundamentals: Strong technical literacy in reading engineering blueprints, interpreting G&M codes, and applying GD&T concepts.
• Weekend Schedule Commitment: Dedicated lifestyle alignment and reliability for the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) schedule.
• Employment Stability: Solid work history demonstrating long-term tenure, attendance, and personal accountability.
• Location & Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder residing within daily driving distance of the Big Bend, WI area.
