Job summary

National Health Care Associates (affiliate PPS) is seeking CNAs for weekend shifts in our Long-Term Care and Rehab facilities in Connecticut. Per diem and agency opportunities with competitive pay and weekly pay, plus training and growth.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, provide companionship, and collaborate with the care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid state CNA certification required.
• Compassionate and empathetic by nature.
• Interest in nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and uphold high care standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Monitor and record vital signs and health status.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.

What You'll Do:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to our residents. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor their health, provide emotional support, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Monitoring and recording vital signs


• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents


• Assisting with mobility and transfers


• Collaborating with the nursing team to develop care plans


• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
