Job summary

Avir at White Rock in Dallas, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our weekend Baylor plan. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and work closely with our healthcare team.

Ideal candidates must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry or certify within four months of hire. We offer competitive pay, daily pay options, a 401k with match, and family health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or upset.
• Ability to move intermittently and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more.
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for transfers and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed.
• Provide catheter care as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
