Job summary

Terrace Health & Rehab Center Gainesville is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Weekend Heroes program. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, support recovery and everyday well-being in a sub-acute setting, and contribute to a respectful, dignified care environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 1 year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) daily and as needed.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plans.
• Ensure residents are hydrated and fed as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport to dining room.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with resident needs.
