Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe environments across the facility. You will routinely sanitize resident rooms and common areas, manage waste, and uphold safety protocols while delivering courteous service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Report safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping or Nursing leadership.
• Notify on supplies needs to keep inventory up to date.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
