Job summary

Maya Home Care is seeking HHA certified caregivers to join our growing team in New Jersey. You will provide personal care and companionship, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being in clients’ homes.

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your contributions are valued and you will serve clients in your area. Shift is 8am–8pm on Saturdays and Sundays; eligibility includes CHHA certification in NJ and ability to pass background checks and immunization requirements.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check must be passed.
• Physical within the last year is required.
• MMR and PPD immunizations are required.
• Two forms of identification are required.
• Drug test and background checks may be required at any time.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Monitor health and report changes to care coordinator.
• Follow care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
