Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our in-home care team. You will provide compassionate non-medical support, companionship, and basic personal care to clients in their homes across Florida's Sarasota area.

We offer direct deposit, paid orientation, ongoing training, and time-and-a-half pay for overtime and holidays. Flexible weekend schedules help match CNAs with nearby clients while maintaining reliable, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA with active certification.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Strong compassionate caregiving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with basic personal care as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation; remind medication when required.
• Establish professional relationships with clients, families and coworkers.
• Be punctual and reliably cover assigned shifts.

As a weekend certified nursing assistant (CNA) with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:

• Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement

• Provide personal care to clients as needed

• Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers

• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
