Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Cashier at Concordia University – Saint Paul. The role centers on retail operations, cash handling, and excellent customer service during weekend shifts. You will operate the POS system, support store upkeep, and assist with closing duties.

The position requires flexibility for varied shifts and campuses. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year of experience, and be prepared to meet any local alcohol service requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• If alcohol is served, must be of legal age to serve.
• Location-dependent alcohol training requirements (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent) may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register (or POS) and handles cash/credit transactions.
• Provides high-quality customer service at all times.
• Maintains proper cash security and accuracy.
• Significant walking or mobility during shifts.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Arrives on time for scheduled shifts; other duties as assigned.
