Job summary

PRESTIGE NM LLC is seeking a friendly and hardworking Cashier to join the team on a part-time basis. You will ring up sales, accept payments, and provide receipts while delivering excellent customer service. Strong cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential, as is experience with cash registers.

The position requires availability on Fridays and Saturdays; other days may be needed. The shift is from 10:30a to 3:00p with potential promotional duties to support sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• 16+ years old.
• Ability to read, count money, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
• Willingness to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are ordering.
• Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card.
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers.
• Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales.
• Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections.
