Cherished Companions Home Care, LLC is seeking Weekend Caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home support for clients across eastern Cuyahoga County and neighboring areas. You will work weekends, delivering personal care, companionship, and practical help with daily activities in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and listening
• Willing to drive to clients' homes (up to 30 minutes)
• Valid driver's license and vehicle
• Willing to work on weekends
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Understanding of end-of-life needs and patient care
• Ability to bring positivity and humor to care
• We hire STNAs, HHAs, MAs, PCAs, nursing students, retirees or any caring background

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home care for clients
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Prepare simple meals and assist with light household tasks
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors
• Maintain respectful, dignified care and client privacy

We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients, one-on-one, in their homes, on the weekends.

Our client's homes. Our clients live in eastern Cuyahoga County, Geauga County, Lake County, northern Portage County, and northern Summit County.

Pay

4-12 hr shifts: $16.00 per hour. $1-$2 pay differential for short shifts (shifts 2-3 hours in length). Numerous ways to advance & make more $$$!

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with the utmost sensitivity and respect.
• Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a nurturing and reassuring presence.
• Channeling your inner Martha Stewart to whip up culinary masterpieces (or at least edible creations) in the kitchen.
• Channeling your inner superhero to tackle household chores and errands with finesse (cape optional).
• Keeping spirits high with your top-notch joke-telling skills and infectious laughter.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license & vehicle (to embark on epic grocery store runs and pharmacy adventures).
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to get to clients' homes.
• Ability to work on weekends
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy and understanding.
• A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by patients and families at the end of life.
• A knack for turning everyday moments into unforgettable memories.
• The ability to find humor in even the most challenging situations, because laughter truly is the best medicine.
• We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field),empty-nesters, OR anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn andbecome a professional caregiver.
