Visiting Angels Abilene seeks a compassionate Weekend Caregiver to support seniors in the Big Country region. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance to help clients remain independent at home.

Training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is available to grow your skills. Weekend shifts include part-time options (8/10/12 hours) and PRN. If you value empathy and reliability, join our local team and make a difference in Abilene and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Commitment to compassionate senior care and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance.
• Strong ethics and reliable in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with routine exercises and daily activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Offer a friendly, supportive companionship and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
