Job summary

Always Best Care Knoxville is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to provide weekend in-home care for clients in Knoxville and surrounding areas. This weekends-only role offers flexibility and a path to additional shifts for motivated caregivers.

You will support daily living activities, prepare meals, remind on medications, perform light housekeeping, and provide companionship throughout shifts. Training is provided, and paid onboarding is included.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors is preferred.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain training and certification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Prepare meals for the client.
• Provide medication reminders and manage schedules.
• Perform light housekeeping (tidying, dishes, laundry).
• Offer companionship and emotional support during shifts.

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Caregiver to provide weekend care for our clients in Knoxville and surrounding areas. This position offers a part-time, weekends-only schedule, with opportunities for additional hours for caregivers who are interested and available.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with ADLs — bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and soft diets
• Prepare meals for the client
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping (tidying, dishes, laundry, changing linens)
• Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the shift

No Experience? No Problem — We’ll Train You!

• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care
• Safe transfer techniques (gait belt / Hoyer lift)
• CNA/HHA certification not required — we invest in your training

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
