Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care Cary is seeking compassionate Weekend Caregivers to join our team in the Cary area. You will provide non-medical home care to seniors and adults, including personal care, companionship, and mobility assistance.

Weekend availability is strongly preferred, with opportunities for both quick 2-hour shifts and longer assignments. We offer paid caregiver training, flexible scheduling based on your availability, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Reliable, compassionate and patient caregiver.
• Weekend availability is required and weekend hours are available.
• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, PCA or senior-care experience is preferred, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care including personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide meal reminders, companionship and conversation.
• Assist with transportation and errands as appropriate.
• Support mobility and daily activities.
