Job summary

Genesis Community Homes, LLC seeks a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional) to join our team. You will help people with disabilities live their best life, including assisting with hygiene, light housekeeping, errands, and medication dispensation. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Responsibilities include supporting with personal care, mobility, meals, companionship, and shopping. No prior experience required, training available for CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required.
• First aid and CPR-certified (will train if the right fit)
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical
• Ability to lift heavy objects

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Dispense medication
• Provide companionship
