Job summary

Senior Helpers of Edmonds is seeking caring caregivers to provide in-home, one-on-one support for seniors in Edmonds, WA and surrounding communities. This part-time weekend role offers flexible weekend schedules, competitive pay of $22–$25 per hour, and opportunities to help clients live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, companionship, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and medication reminders as permitted.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work assigned part-time schedules based on client needs

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with walking, transfers, mobility, and fall prevention
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders as permitted by policy
• Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Maintaining accurate care documentation and communicating with the office and family members
