Job summary

Visiting Angels Evansville is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to provide compassionate home care in the Newburgh area. This role involves 12-hour shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a), seven days a week, with pay ranging from $13.00 to $15.50 per hour based on experience.

Training is paid and benefits are available to support caregivers. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation for errands.

Qualifications

• TB skin test is required and paid for by Visiting Angels.
• Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance are required.
• Candidate must be able to pass a background check and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing clients.
• Toileting assistance and transfers.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, changing bed linens).
• Basic companionship and transportation for errands.
• Cooking and medication reminders.

Weekend Caregiver Responsibilities:

Weekend Caregiver Requirements:

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• TB Skin Test (Paid for by Visiting Angels)
• Valid Driver's License
• Active, Current Automobile Insurance
• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.
