Job summary

ComForCare in McLean, VA is seeking a compassionate caregiver for weekend shifts to support clients with daily living activities in-home. Join a team dedicated to dignity, safety, and meaningful relationships, delivering personal care and companionship.

This role requires CNA/PCA/HHA certification or equivalent, experience with dementia is a plus, and reliable transportation. You will help with mobility, meals, and creating a safe, orderly home environment for clients.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification required.
• Experience with individuals living with dementia.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous in-home care or senior-living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities to promote independence at home.
• Provide personal care services.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized home environment.
• Offer companionship and respite support for families.
