Visiting Angels Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support elderly clients in the Highland Lakes area. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with daily activities, and serve as a trusted companion for families in Marble Falls and nearby towns.

The role emphasizes patient safety, dignity, and reliable weekend availability. Training is provided; experience in home or elder care is preferred and appreciated by the local team.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication where applicable.

• Shop for clients or accompany them during shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Be a friendly, supportive companion and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Weekend Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Weekend Caregiver Requirements
