Job summary

Caring Senior Service in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant to help seniors maintain independence and dignity. You will provide daily living support, mobility assistance, and respectful companionship.

This in-person role offers weekend shifts, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for training. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, along with experience in home care and medication monitoring.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in senior care.
• Familiarity with medication administration and EMR documentation.
• Ability to safely operate mobility aids (e.g., Hoyer lifts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care.

Responsibilities

• Daily Support: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Health & Safety: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and log updates in our EMR system.
• Specialized Care: Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care needs.
• Home & Meals: Prepare nutritious meals and manage light housekeeping.
• Outings: Drive clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
• Weekend Support: Provide compassionate care during available weekend shifts based on client and scheduling needs.
