Join a company that makes a difference. During these times, Right at Home supports and equips caregivers with PPE to serve seniors and adults with disabilities in Grand Rapids, MI.

We are seeking caregivers available for two or more shifts per week, especially weekends, including 7pm-7am shifts. Available shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overnights.

What You’ll Do and Who You Are:

Training will prepare you for success. Ideally, you are honest, energetic, approachable, and good at communicating. You take pride in your work, handle pressure well, and enjoy a challenge. You are comfortable with assistance activities such as eating, hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and household chores. You can prepare meals and navigate a kitchen. You may assist with medication reminders, prescribed exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities like reading and music.

Must Haves:

• At least 18 years old
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Eligible for direct patient care roles
• Ability to pass background checks
• Completion of a Competency Evaluation per state law
• Current CPR certification (recommended)
• One year of healthcare experience as a Home Health Aide and completion of a state-approved course
