Job summary

Visiting Angels of Hurst, TX is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support seniors in Bedford, Euless, North Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Flexibility, compassion and reliability are essential.

You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and companionship, enabling clients to remain at home with dignity. Training provided and benefits after 90 days.

This weekend role offers pay between $16.00 and $19.00 per hour plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.

• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.

A Visiting Angels Weekend Caregiver wears many hats as they help our elderly and home-care clients stay at home or recover at home with dignity.

While no two client visits are alike, responsibilities may include:

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks
