Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus.
• Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing clients' schedules and needs.
• Physical stamina and the ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning clients.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support clients in mobility and ambulation, using assistive devices when necessary.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance clients' emotional wellbeing.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere that promotes clients' independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
