Job summary

A senior living facility is hiring for a Care Partner to provide personalized care and services to residents. This full-time role requires a caring disposition and an eagerness to assist older adults with daily activities. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal history check, physical exam, and drug screen. The weekend schedule includes varying shifts from 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving to older adults preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician.
• Must have a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond immediately to resident calls.
• Assist with resident activities, encourage, and assist residents to participate.
• Encourage residents to attend meals in the dining room.
• Escort residents to and from the dining room.
• Observe and report changes in residents' appetite and ability to eat and drink.
• Assist with cleaning the dining room after the meal service.
• Help clean and tidy residents' room/apartment.
• Assist residents with showers, toileting and dressing and grooming tasks.

The Oaks at Hampton is hiring for a Care Partner on the weekend team. Schedule: weekends 7a-3p, 3p-11p & 11p-7a. The location is just off GA 400 between Dawsonville and Cumming.

Position Summary

The care partner will provide personalized care and services to residents, uphold the mission of Oaks Senior Living, and promote the well-being of the residents. Care partners will provide assistance and support with residents' activities of daily living in a professional, kind and caring manner.
