Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is seeking a Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join the Acute Care Services weekend team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital in Fayetteville, GA. This full-time weekend position offers the chance to work with a leading cardiology program.

You will evaluate cardiology patients, take histories, write notes, and coordinate procedures in an inpatient setting while collaborating with cardiology physicians and peers.

Qualifications

• GA license for Advanced Practice Nursing required
• NCCPA certification required for PA practice in GA
• ACNP/FNP license in GA required
• ACLS, BCLS required at hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in inpatient setting
• Take patient histories, perform physical exams, and document data
• Write progress notes, consultations, admissions, and discharge summaries
• Prepare patient workups
• Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers

Education

Masters degree in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
