Job summary

Greencroft Communities in Indiana is seeking a Campus Security Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with duties including patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring entrances, and responding to emergencies.

You will also provide escort services, assist with events, write security reports, and support after-hours operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stay alert and think quickly in emergencies.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds on foot and by vehicle.
• Lock and unlock facility doors according to schedule.
• Respond to emergencies and direct emergency services as needed.
• Provide escort services for staff at shift changes or after-hours.
• Monitor parking and assist with large events.
• Write security reports and document observations.
• Assist with after-hours maintenance calls and deliveries.
