Jill’s House, Inc. in Hewitt, New Jersey is seeking a part-time PRN Camp Nurse (RN/LPN) to oversee medical care for children with intellectual disabilities during weekend sessions.

Under the Nursing Manager, the nurse will administer medications, manage medical files, and respond to emergencies. The role requires renewal of NJ RN/LPN license, CPR/BLS, and pediatric care experience, with Saturdays and Sundays as core shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current NJ RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• One year nursing experience, pediatric or ID/DD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and respond to medical emergencies under supervision of Nurse Manager.
• Assist with check-in and medical records (check-in and MARs) as needed.
• Collect and secure medications and devices with guardian approvals and Jill’s House policies.
• Attend staff meetings and training to maintain certifications and knowledge of policies.
• Assist campers with activities and ADLs as needed.
