Qualifikationen

• Current Florida RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or obtained within required timeframe.
• One year MS nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent assessment, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to providers.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Accurately document all patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case management, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a patient advocate with compassionate, respectful, and professional care.
• Participate in department meetings, continuing education, and competency validation.
