Job summary

Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Aberdeen, NC is seeking a dedicated RN for the Baylor Weekend Program on the day shift. You will provide direct nursing care, assess changes in residents’ conditions, and administer medications per orders while collaborating with a compassionate team of CNAs and staff.

This role offers a stable weekend schedule with guaranteed Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and enhanced earnings through the Baylor program.

Qualifications

• Current and active North Carolina RN license.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Dependable and committed to providing high-quality resident care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care based on residents’ individual needs and care plans.
• Assess residents and promptly identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor and document residents’ conditions and progress.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and collaborate with CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow all applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
