Sodexo is hiring a Bartender Tipped for the SUNY Plattsburgh location. You will mix and serve drinks, provide excellent customer service, and coordinate with staff to ensure prompt service. The role emphasizes safety and accuracy in drink preparation.

This part-time position on weekends involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and joining a team dedicated to exceptional guest experiences. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour with Sodexo benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, mixes and serves drinks with garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is stocked and ready for service.
• Prepare counts and requisitions to replenish supplies.
• Maintain friendly, attentive service during shifts.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; may exceed 8 hours.
