Job summary

Eurest in Chicago is seeking a part-time barista to prepare and serve coffee/espresso beverages and related items, following HACCP standards. You will interact with customers in a friendly manner and maintain a clean service area.

Experience in customer service or a coffee shop is preferred. Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am–5:00 pm) is required, and a POS system will be used for orders and payments.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a coffee shop is preferred.
• Familiar with POS devices and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso drinks using standard recipes and portion controls.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; processes payments.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas per HACCP guidelines.
• Greets customers and answers questions about the menu to aid ordering.
• Replenishes condiments and supplies; assists in general service duties.
