Job summary

Lovejoy Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian for weekends to provide comprehensive general practice and urgent care services to companion animals in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

You will join a team in Boston with a 2.5-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio, enjoying flexible scheduling with no on-call and support from technicians and client service representatives to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Active veterinary license in good standing in Massachusetts
• Comfort triaging and managing urgent care cases preferred but not required
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork and high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general practice and urgent care for companion animals
• Manage a varied caseload including wellness visits, diagnostics, dentistry, and urgent cases
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
• Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and client service representatives to ensure the best outcomes
