Job summary

Citadel Security USA is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a weekend assignment in Dillon, CO. The role involves maintaining a visible armed presence, patrolling interior and exterior areas, and protecting people and property during a Friday–Sunday 1:00 PM–11:00 PM shift (30 hours/week).

Candidates should be dependable, able to work independently, and committed to professional reporting, incident documentation, and following post orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a personal firearm that meets applicable legal and company requirements.
• Ability to satisfy all armed security licensing requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to Grand Junction for required training.
• Ability to work the scheduled Friday through Sunday shift consistently.
• Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, visitors, and supervisors.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and other pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor entrances, surrounding grounds, and other designated locations.
• Maintain a professional armed presence throughout the shift.
• Take appropriate action when security concerns are identified.
• Respond to disturbances, alarms, and other security-related concerns while following post orders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and document incidents.
• Communicate important information to supervisors in a timely manner.
