The ideal candidate has proven enterprise storytelling, exceptional live reporting, and a solid on-air presence with viewers. A journalism-related bachelor's degree and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven success developing enterprise stories.
• Excellent live reporting and ad-lib skills.
• Strong on-air presence with viewers connection.
• Excellent writing, storytelling and interviewing skills.
• Strong news judgment in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Anchor live Saturday and Sunday newscasts with credibility and strong storytelling.
• Lead breaking news and severe weather coverage during weekends.
• Collaborate with producers, reporters, meteorologists, and newsroom leaders to shape content.
• Write, edit, and review scripts for accuracy and fairness.
• Report in the field three days per week for broadcast, digital, and streaming.
• Pitch enterprise story ideas and execute them the same day.
