Job summary

Big Oak Rehab in New Jersey is seeking a Weekend Activities Aide to help our residents stay engaged, connected, and entertained. You will plan and lead activities and spend time with residents, encouraging participation based on their interests.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and interest in working with seniors.
• Dependable and patient, with good people skills.
• Long-term care experience is a plus, but motivated candidates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead fun, engaging activities for residents.
• Encourage participation based on residents' interests.
• Set up activity areas and gather supplies.
• Escort residents to and from activities.
• Track attendance and document resident participation.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.

What You'll Do

• Help plan and lead fun, engaging activities for residents
