Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Fort Worth is seeking an RS AMT III A&P for a weekend-days role. The position requires 3 years of aviation maintenance experience and an FAA A&P license. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and replacement of aircraft components, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and timely documentation. The role involves coordination with inspection and other departments, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
• Complete work orders, sign-offs, and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and store customer property and components securely.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Operate and oversee use of special equipment for removal and installation of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair as needed.
• Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep work areas clean.
• Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company procedures.
