Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for our cold storage distribution site in New Jersey. The role directs forklift operators, trains staff, assigns work, and ensures safe, efficient material handling in a 35°F environment.

You will load/unload, stage, stock, and transport products using sit-down, stand-up, clamp, or other equipment, while maintaining safety standards and following OSHA guidelines. Weekend 2nd shift provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year related experience or training.
• Forklift operator with rail-specific experience.
• Must be able to complete post-hire assessments.
• Must obtain/maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA).
• Must wear PPE per safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Train newly hired forklift operators within the area of responsibility.
• Assist supervisors in planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered equipment; inspect daily.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment and ensure correct loading.
