Lozier Corporation is seeking a dedicated operator to support manufacturing of retail and warehouse equipment in Indiana. The role involves setting up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and Automatic Presses to meet specifications and maximize productivity during a 12-hour shift (Friday through Sunday).

A $2.00 per hour shift premium applies to the base rate of $22.39/hr, and a $1,000 bonus is available after 90 days of employment.

Competenze

• Forklift license preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing specifications.
• Experience with measuring tools such as tape measure, caliper, protractor, and micrometer.
• Die setup experience in brake press, stamping, or injection molding processes.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Set up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and Automatic Presses for production specifications and productivity.
• Perform basic programming for laser or CNC equipment as needed.
• Communicate equipment and tooling issues to Operators, Supervisors and Technicians.
• Coordinate with Operators to ensure safe and efficient operation and adhere to priorities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

• 12 hour shifts Friday thru Sunday


• 1st shift 6:00am - 6:30pm: $22.39 with a $2.00 per hour shift premium


• $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Champion Lozier's Mission, Vision, and Core Values by demonstrating the behaviors that contribute to Lozier's success.




• Set-up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications in order to obtain maximum productivity




• Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment




• Communicate problems pertaining to the set-up of equipment and tooling to Machine Operators, Supervisors and Technicians




• Follow-up with Machine Operators to ensure operation is running safely and efficiently




• Work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities throughout the shift




• Reliable attendance




• Maintain a safe, clean work environment




• Participate in continuous improvement projects

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Currently have or be able to obtain forklift license




• Able to read and understand blueprints




• Working knowledge of measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper, protractor and micrometer




• Die setup experience in brake press, stamping or injection molding processes




• Basic troubleshooting skills

Special Demands:

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift
