Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, develops and implements individualized nursing care plans.
• Assists in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel and oversees daily unit operations per shift.
• Performs direct resident assessment and care.
• Supervises and coordinates nursing staff to ensure compliant resident care.
• Formulates individualized care plans using the nursing process.
• Assesses residents daily and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Assists physicians on rounds and communicates orders accurately.
• Participates in training and supervision of nursing staff.
• Leads with effective supervision principles.
• Manages conflicts with problem-solving and communication.
• Acts calmly and efficiently in emergencies.
• Prepares daily assignments of duties and treatments.
